Vintage Carved Spanish Oak Wine Barrel or Cask Spirit Server

This vintage spirit server is a miniature Spanish oak wine cask or barrel. The barrel is well constructed and has the original stopper and tap. The piece sits on a carved stand and has 6 shot glasses surrounding the barrel. The carving on the barrel and the barrel stand is accented with decorative studs. The piece is a pleasure to look at from any angle.
The barrel staves are copper bound and the barrel holds liquid and does not leak. The carving makes this barrel a stunning bar decoration. The tap needs some work to seal properly if the barrel is to be used to serve wine or liquor.
The barrel measures about 8 1/2 inches front to back and is about 5 3/4 inches in diameter. The barrel stand is about 12 1/4 inches wide and accommodates 6 shot glasses. The original shot glasses are included.
