Homer Laughlin Nautilus Eggshell Set, Countess Pattern, 42 Pieces

This beautiful dinnerware set was produced in the 1950's by Homer Laughlin.  The pattern, N1627 or Countess, features a border of pink and yellow roses with a gold band.

This set consists of 42 pieces:  7 Dinner Plates, 6 Salad Plates, 4 Rim Soup Bowls, 5 Dessert Bowls, 8 Bread & Butter Plates, 3 Cups, 5 Saucers, a 9 3/4" Serving Bowl, a 9" Platter, a 13 1/2" Platter and a 15 1/2" Platter.

There are 3 complete 7 piece place settings.  Pieces are available on EBay and Replacements if you want to make more place settings.

There are no chips or cracks in any of the pieces.  There are some very light utensil marks on some of the pieces.
Homer Laughlin China Company, makers of the popular Fiesta brand dishware, first opened pottery-firing kilns in East Liverpool, Ohio, in 1874.

The company, one of the few remaining American dish manufacturers still in operation, produces dinnerware for restaurants and the home and hosts visitor tours twice every weekday.
