This fabulous print was produced by Ducher et Cie, 35 Ave De La Opera, Paris in 1945. The print is of an original art work by Boris Riab (1898 - 1975) and is hand signed by the artist. The print is on Rives paper and is in good condition having been stored through the years.

Boris Riab was an extraordinary artist whose works depicted portraits of hunting dogs, birds and waterfowl. His main medium was watercolor and he authorized quality prints of his work during his lifetime. In the mid 1940's Ducher and Company produced a series of prints that the artist personally approved and signed. This print is one of those produced in 1945 and depicts a cocker spaniel with a woodcock.

This is a large print measuring about 24 3/4" by 17 3/4" overall. The picture size when matted is about 19 1/2" by 13 3/4".
