1950's American Bisque After School

This retro cookie jar was made by The American Bisque Pottery Company in the 1950's. The cookie jar is in great condition with no chips or cracks. This cookie jar is called the after school cookie jar and is complete with the original school bell attached to the lid.
The piece is large and measures about 10 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lid, about 6 inches side to side and about 8 inches front to back.
The American Bisque Pottery Company is well known as the original manufacturer of kewpie dolls and was a competitor to McCoy pottery in the production of classic American cookie jars.
